The Little Rock Roadrunners Club (LRRC) is a non-profit organization of runners and walkers of all ages and backgrounds who share a common interest in physical fitness and better health. Our club seeks to promote these interests in the Little Rock community by holding regular meetings, training runs, and races. The LRRC is a great way to meet other runners and reach your goals, whether they be to qualify for the Boston Marathon or run a mile without stopping.
We are proud to represent a Runner Friendly Community!
Little Rock was designated as one of the Roadrunners Club of America’s (RRCA) Runner Friendly Communities in fall of 2023. We are one of only 50 cities across the nation to receive this designation, and the only one in the state of Arkansas. The Little Rock Roadrunners Club was instrumental in applying for this designation, which also required the support of local businesses and city officials. From the RRCA: “Runner Friendly Communities have shown that they meet the program’s criteria, which includes community infrastructure along with support from local businesses and government. A Runner Friendly Community has a safe network of pedestrian-friendly sidewalks, multi-use trails, paths, share lanes, and more. In addition, the communities work in collaboration with public and private organizations to support and promote running as a sport and healthy activity.”
