The bylaws mention the website and specify items that must be posted on the website, but no one is assigned to oversee the website or the club's web presence.
I think this ought to be an assigned duty.
I read many club web sites that work well for one enthusiastic leader's term and then are abandoned. A good website really helps promote a club. LRRC has a good site now. Who will be responsible for ensuring that continues to be the case?

This was fun! Despite feeling bad about not having a women's team (appreciate Becky and Alea), we had so many awesome men runner's and a blast hanging out. Thanks everyone and Brian for your positive message.

Just uploaded the May 1979 RunAround issue:

http://arkrrca.com/html/LRRR/newsletter/1979/may.pdf

If there was a RunAround published between January and May of 1979 I do not have it, but I have heard that the club newsletter wasn't always published every single month in the early days. It may be that we aren't missing any in between January and May.

The May '79 issue features the Arkansas Marathon results and a club roster from that time. Interesting to note that Larry Graham was the same tardy due payer back in '79 as he is in '09.
